Expert transferFabrizio Romano and the Athletic newspaper both confirmed that MU reached an agreement to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina after the club’s representative flew to Italy this morning (September 1) to negotiate.

Sofyan Amrabat joined MU on a 1-season loan with an option to buy it permanently next year

The Red Devils made an offer to borrow the Moroccan midfielder on Thursday, for a fee of 2 million euros, and even included a clause that could be ‘returned’ in the middle of the season (January 2024) if the player does not meet the requirements. Fiorentina of course disagrees.

Faced with the urgent situation, the recruitment team MU flew to the place to negotiate Fiorentina and finally the two sides reached an agreement.

Specifically, MU will borrow Amrabat for 1 season for a fee of 10 million euros, with an option to buy it off next year for 25 million euros (including 5 million euros in surcharge), if the Red Devils want it.

Sofyan Amrabat will definitely be a MU player before the Premier League summer market closes at 11pm on Friday (1/9). MU cannot sign him long term at the moment due to financial fair play restrictions.

Erik ten Hag said, Sergio Reguilon joined MU training after completing the medical examination and signing the contract.

Sofyan Amrabat is MU’s 6th signing this summer to strengthen the squad for Erik ten Hag in the 2023/24 campaign, after goalkeeper Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir, defender Sergio Reguilon, midfielder Mason Mount, money. religion Rasmus Hojlund.

Coach Erik ten Hag confirmed, left-back Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham on loan, has now participated in training with MU.
