According to the Italian press, coach Mourinho wants to add a creative midfielder to help Roma race high in Serie A and go far in the Europa League.
Aouar is Mourinho’s favorite midfielder. The French player is appreciated for his technique and creative play.
Aouar’s contract with Lyon expires at the end of the season and he has no intention of extending it. Therefore, Roma expects to spend only about 5 million euros to complete the deal in January.
