MU wants to settle the termination of the contract with Ronaldo quickly, but if he asks for money or makes it difficult, the club is ready to sue him in court.
According to ESPN, MU told Ronaldo that the club did not want to sue him for breach of contract but they would if he refused to leave Old Trafford.

After Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan was released in full, MU immediately released a statement saying, the club “takes appropriate legal steps”.
And one of MU’s first steps is to announce the early termination of the contract with Ronaldo, in accordance with the regulations – 14 days in advance.
