According to a revelation from Rudy Galetti, in addition to Jurrien Timber, Manchester United are also targeting Marc Guehi to strengthen the position of central defender next summer. For its part, Crystal Palace is said to be asking around £50m for the former Chelsea star’s services.
The Italian journalist said:
“Timber is known and appreciated by Ten Hag, who coached him at Ajax. This summer could be the right time to make a decisive effort, but let’s keep an eye on it too. Crystal Palace midfielder Marc Guehi is also on Man Utd’s target list.”
Guehi has improved tremendously since leaving Chelsea.
As revealed by GIVEMESPORT, Palace is ready to part with Guehi next summer, but on condition that the £50m fee they demanded must be met. Of course, for a player who is only 22 years old and still has not been evaluated as a Premier League top centre-back, this will be a number that Man Utd must carefully consider.
Notably, besides the Red Devils, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be eyeing the young British star.
