Ten Hag’s army won the right to the quarterfinals with a 5-1 aggregate victory over Real Betis in the round of 16. The Reds won 4-1 at Old Trafford in the first leg, before leaving Spain with a 1-0 win thanks to a Marcus Rashford strike.
The recent draw results brought the Red Devils to Sevilla. Man United have failed to win a single match in 3 matches against Sevilla. They have not met the team from southern Spain since August 2020, when the Red Devils lost 1-2 in the Europa League semi-final.
