Jose Mourinho brought a number of players from the Premier League to AS Roma during his time in charge of capital club Itay, including England internationals Tammy Abraham and Chris Smalling.
According to Calciomercato’s latest update, Trevoh Chalobah and Malang Sarr are currently on the transfer list January 2024 of the Portuguese strategist. Chalobah has struggled with injuries this season, while Sarr has not had a minute on the field under Mauricio Pochettino.
If AS Roma makes a reasonable offer, the possibility of Chelsea releasing someone is relatively high. In the case of Chalobah, “Giallorossi” faces competition from Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

After Tammy Abraham, Jose Mourinho is determined to bring two more Chelsea players to Stadio Olimpico.
Trevoh Chalobah has played impressively in the past two seasons. He appeared a total of 45 times in all competitions. This player is relatively versatile as he can play as a center back, full back and holding midfielder. Since moving to Stamford Bridge from Nice in the summer of 2020, Malang Sarr has played for “The Blues” 21 times and has not met the expectations of the coaching staff and fans.
If Chelsea’s duo is successfully recruited, AS Roma’s defensive quality is expected to improve significantly. Jose Mourinho’s army has suffered 14 goals after 12 Serie A rounds this season. “Giallorossi” is ranked 7th and 2 points behind the European Cup group.
