Man United have beaten off interest from Arsenal and Liverpool to sign the England international from Chelsea in a deal worth £55m in the 2023 summer transfer window.
Mount is yet to make a notable impact at Old Trafford, failing to score and only providing one assist in eight appearances as well as being sidelined with a muscle injury in five matches.

Mount is playing below his strength.
Witnessing what Mount showed, Rio Ferdinand said: “No disrespect to Chelsea but he is a golden boy and has surpassed the levels there.
Mount has never really been subjected to negativity or scrutiny, ‘Should he be here or is he not good enough?’ – Mount has actually never encountered those things in his life.
But the pressure when you come to Man United, it brings a different burden on your shoulders. Things get even worse when things don’t go well.
Now he’s hearing it. I just think players need time. As long as he has the opportunity in the right position, Mount is a bet to become a true player for Man United.”
