Arsenal will host Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on Sunday. At this time, at London Colney, coach Mikel Arteta and his team are practicing hard to prepare for the ‘6-point match’.
Ayden Heaven, one of the top talents of the Hale End training facility, also appeared in the training session with his seniors. The 17-year-old is a central midfielder, but has largely played in a defensive position for the Gunners U18 team this season. He is likened to another Pogba.
Arsenal’s youth team expert Jeorge Bird commented: “Heaven can also operate as a centre-back but he is most effective in midfield, where he can push high for maximum effectiveness.”
Bird added that Heaven’s playing style in midfield has earned him comparisons to Paul Pogba.
Heaven was previously a player at the West Ham United academy but left at the age of 12. He admits he was a fan of the Gunners during his childhood, and his home is only 15 minutes away from London Colney.
