Inter Miami failed to advance to the MLS play-offs, even though they unexpectedly won their first Leagues Cup in history. Failure to reach the play-offs means their season is over after Saturday’s match against Charlotte FC.
Therefore, Lionel Messi is expected to go on a short-term loan to Saudi Arabia and return to Barcelona to maintain his fitness. However, it is currently unclear whether Messi’s loan departure will come true or not.

After that, I will enjoy my vacation in Argentina. This is the first time I’ve had more days off in December. In January, I’ll be back for pre-season training. The above statement shows that Messi will not return to Barca. He still devoted himself wholeheartedly to Miami and enjoyed his time off instead of trying to compete.
