There is a questionable story about Kylian Mbappe’s relative back in 2012. Jires Kembo, Mbappe’s adoptive brother, made a decision that shocked the family. In 2012, when Mbappe was 13 years old, Kembo began to build a promising career, representing France Under-21 team and playing with Rennes in Ligue 1. But that summer, at the age of 24, he moved to Abu Dhabi to join Al Ain.
The media shared the news that brought Mbappe to tears. His mother later shared: “He chose money over football”.
Meanwhile, Mbappe expressed: “This was a mistake. I will never do the same.” The French striker is serious about his career.
When he was a boy, Mbappe was invited by Chelsea to Cobham for a trial. Real Madrid also soon approached the 2018 World Cup champion. Mbappe went through many trips to visit the facilities of the top European clubs, but in the end, he decided to stay in France to play for AS Monaco.
In 2017, after shining in Monaco, Mbappe is still in no hurry to receive the glory from Real’s white shirt. He nodded to Paris Saint-Germain instead of moving to the Bernabeu. Mbappe’s decision to refuse Real that summer reflected a figure who is currently the most powerful player in football.
Mbappe, who grew up in Bondy – just 12 miles from PSG’s home ground, said: “For any young player in the Paris area, it’s usually a dream to put on a red and blue shirt and experience the unique atmosphere of the Princes’ Park courtyard”.
In addition, president Nasser Al-Khelaifi once shared: “It is essential for French football that we keep and help develop such a great talent in the club’s championships.”
Six years have passed, Mbappe is again in the sights of the Royal team and the biggest clubs in the world. He again caused the press to spend a lot of ink and paper to scrutinize his future. Now, unlike the past, Mbappe is mature in every way.
He is no longer a young player who has not yet reached the same level of stability as in previous years. Mbappe is really a world-class star, having won the 2018 World Cup and the face and symbol of the continent. That much charisma and fame is enough to turn the 24-year-old star into a Galaticos, where promises to help him fulfill his Champions League dream.
Real has missed Mbappe 3 times, most recently in the summer of 2021, when the club was ready to spend up to 180 million euros to convince him to leave the Park of the Princes. Currently, the possibility of Los Blancos winning the signature of the former Monaco player is even greater because of the news that he refused to extend his contract for another year.
Obviously, in the current position, Mbappe has all the factors to come to Real. If Mbappe comes to Real this summer or summer 2024, it will no longer be a surprise. His dream is to put on a white shirt and that comes at a time when the French player is at the most ripe point of his career.
