In the video posted on social networks, fans discovered that Ethan Mbappe was among the PSG players to welcome Lionel Messi back.
“Clearly Ethan can’t be satisfied because Argentina beat France in the final,” one fan commented. “I still remember how passionately Ethan celebrated when his brother scored the 3-3 equalizer for France in Lusail,” commented a second fan.
Ethan is only 16 years old this year but has been training with the PSG first team recently. Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe did not appear in the ranks to welcome Messi due to being on vacation.
Striker born in 1998 with Achraf Hakimi was allowed by coach Christophe Galtier to come to the US to relax after losing to Lens in Ligue 1 a few days ago. Mbappe returned to play for PSG just 10 days after the World Cup final. This partly affects the performance and fitness of “Ninja Turtle”.
As for Messi, he returned to Paris yesterday (4/1) and had a light training session with his teammates. The defending world champion is expected to return in the match against Angers on January 12.
