Jean-Clair Todibo has been a key player for Nice in Ligue 1 this season and that has led to attention from some of the big Premier League clubs. According to a report cited by GFFN yesterday, Liverpool and Newcastle United are both interested in signing the versatile defender.
Besides, Manchester United were also revealed to join the race. Todibo is versatile enough to play at full-back as well as at centre-back. He could come in to replace one of Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof, the duo likely to leave Old Trafford this summer.
In the event that Maguire or Lindelof stay at Man Utd, Todibo is still capable of gaining priority over both.
Todibo once joined Barcelona but disappointed and moved to Nice to play in the summer of 2021. The star born in 1999 spent 42 appearances in all competitions for Nice this season.
Transfermarkt values the French player 30 million euros, a figure that promises to make Nice feel satisfied at the negotiating table.
