Silva, 28, joined Man City from French side Monaco in 2017 and has since made 306 appearances for the club in all competitions. The Portugal international has scored 55 goals and provided 59 assists during his time at Manchester, winning 14 trophies including five Premier League titles and one Champions League.
Despite his huge success and vital contribution to City, Silva has been linked with a possible exit from The Etihad in recent transfer windows. Arsenal, Barcelona, and French champions Paris Saint-Germain have all shown their interest in the Portugal international.
Currently, Silva has a contract with Man City until 2027, after extending his contract in 2019. Coach Pep Guardiola does not want to lose him this summer, but Man City decided that they will accept offers of £70m for Silva.
Last season, the Portuguese player scored 7 goals and provided 8 assists in 55 games in all competitions, including a brace against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final second leg.
