Regragui saw Morocco beat Brazil at the Grand Stade de Tanger, thanks to goals from Sofiane Boufal and Abdelhamid Sabiri. Casemiro is the one who scored for Brazil against the North African giants.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Regragui said: “We wanted to win after the World Cup and that’s what happened. We are very happy because this is the first time Morocco beat Brazil in history. They are at the top of the FIFA rankings.”
Regragui has just defeated Brazil with his students.
“Although some of their players are not here, Brazil is still a very high level team. We also had injuries, but we showed our mentality.”
“This is the month of Ramadan, we have to go pray to Tarawih to confirm if it is true or not. Now we will celebrate, but there is still a long way to go.”
Morocco will face Peru in the next match. The victory over Brazil is a great motivation for this team after playing well in the World Cup.
