Bruno Fernandes had a good opening for Aaron Wan-Bissaka to cross and hit a cross like Christian Eriksen to easily open the scoring. Then, Marcus Rashford had a spectacular solo from the home side to seal a 2-0 victory for the home team.
Vincent Kompany said: “I think both goals were done very well. Fernandes’ pass is perfect and for Ian Maatsen – a young full-back – he needs to learn to predict these lines. Then the centre-backs – the young centre-backs – will also learn to predict how the ball will pass inwards.
