David De Gea remains a free agent after leaving Manchester United in the summer. This goalkeeper returned to Spain to discuss new plans for the future. He was seen visiting Spanish second division side Eldense.
However, the goalkeeper was not there to consider making the shock transfer. Instead, it has been reported that De Gea is considering becoming owner of Eldense, who are currently 11th in the Segunda División and have been on the rise in recent years.

De Gea is considering buying Eldense.
Chairman Pascual Perez has been behind that success, but he will soon step down and underline his commitment to ensuring the club is in the right hands. A statement read: “Perez guarantees that, before leaving the presidency, he will do everything possible to make the takeover of the oldest club in the province of Alicante go smoothly.”
Onda Cero reported De Gea met with the club’s outgoing president to discuss the team’s situation and future plans. The 33-year-old goalkeeper still has many years of playing left but appears ready to consider his options after hanging up his gloves.
