Liverpool are planning to spend £40 million to recruit Leeds United teenager Archie Gray. Gray, 17, only made his debut for the Leeds United first team on the opening day of the 2023/24 Championship when his team welcomed Cardiff City.
Since then, Gray has become a regular starter under Daniel Farke. As well as impressing in midfield, he also boasts the ability to move out wide or as a full-back.
Gray first came to the attention of Premier League fans when he was just 16 years old. This future star was named on the bench by Marcelo Bielsa in the match against Arsenal.

Gray entered Liverpool’s sights
According to Daily Mail, Gray is valued by Leeds at more than 40 million pounds. His contract expires in 2025, meaning the club risk losing players for free if they do not sell next summer. Liverpool is said to be planning to recruit this young player as Klopp continues to rebuild the squad after a series of departures in the summer of 2023.
The Durham-born star has played for England U15, U16, U17 and U19.
