Darren Bent commented that Dominik Szoboszlai is truly an excellent signature and has performed better than another summer blockbuster, Kai Havertz. The former English striker shared:
“I like Szoboszlai, I think he has a bit of an element of mystery. I like watching him play football. Szoboszlai received the ball and made it happen.”
“For now, I can tell you that Szoboszlai performed better than Havertz. He’s no better than Szoboszlai.”
Szoboszlai is praised.
Sharing the same opinion as Bent, Robbie Savage also believes that Szoboszlai is a truly successful signature for Liverpool. The former English player shared:
“I think Szoboszlai was very impressive at Liverpool.”
“He only scored two goals, but the way Liverpool play and the way Jurgen Klopp transforms the midfield, they are much more dynamic than last season. And I think, Szoboszlai played a huge role in that process.”
