AC Milan are not allowed to lose more points if they want to continue to challenge for the title with Napoli. Stefano Pioli’s Serie A second-placed side are eight points off the top of the table and face a mid-table Salernitana, who have won just one of their six meetings with Milan in Serie A.

83 minutes, Federico Bonazzoli shot into the bottom corner of the goal to keep hope for the home team. But the final score is still 2-1 in favor of Milanthey temporarily narrowed the gap with Napoli to 5 points.
