Liverpool defeated LASK 4-0 at home at Anfield. With this result, along with Toulouse’s 0-0 draw, The Kop officially qualified for the Europa League group stage by taking first place.
Young star Conor Bradley came on as a late substitute, thereby marking his first appearance in the European arena. After the match, coach Jurgen Klopp praised the 20-year-old player on TNT Sports:
“I like that, you can see in those moments, Bradley is a real talent for the team. We really believe in him. There are a lot of positives. I told him after the match to enjoy playing in Europe. He is very smart, but he also needs to develop his body.”
This is not the first time Klopp flattered Bradley. Four months ago, after the victory over Karlsruher in the summer of 2023, the German coach mentioned the Northern Irish player. Liverpool head coach highly appreciates Bradley, an important thing that promises to help the 2000-born defender play more in the future.
