The French star won his 12th national championship medal, after Bayern won the Bundesliga for the 11th time in a row. The 26-year-old played a key role in scoring the opening goal in the 2-1 win over Cologne. Although Cologne then equalized in the 81st minute from the penalty spot, Jamal Musiala sealed victory and the championship for Bayern in the 89th minute, thanks to Dortmund’s stumble against Mainz at Signal Iduna Park.
This is Coman’s 12th consecutive league title. This incredible achievement began in 2013 when he won the Ligue 1 title with PSG. After joining Juventus, this player immediately won the Serie A title in 2015 and 2016. In which, in 2016 even though he only played the first round and then moved to Bayern, Coman still had a medal. He then won another medal with the championship with the Gray Lobster.
Since then, he has won seven consecutive Bundesliga titles with the Bavarian team.
Fans were quick to express their admiration for Coman’s incredible record on social media. One person tweeted: “He will be devastated if he has a season without a title.”
Another commented: “He is 27 years old this year. If he stayed at Bayern, he could break the all-time record in the Top 5 in the league.”
A surprised third: “Dude, you even won 2 titles in one season 😱”.
The fourth added: “Terrible streak!”.
The fifth declared: “This guy has 12 championships in a row, crazy ðŸ˜ðŸ˜”.
Despite being young, Coman’s personal trophy cabinet is full of titles other than the 12 national championship medals mentioned above. Accordingly, Coman also won a World Cup with France, as well as a Champions League and many domestic cups. The 26-year-old needs just one more championship to equal Ryan Giggs’ career record of 13.
