According to a revelation from Christian Falk, coach Julian Nagelsmann may soon return after a long period of “sitting around”. Falk said there are currently two potential landing spots waiting for the former captain of Bayern Munich, including Borussia Dortmund and the German national team.
German journalist shared:
“Germans will watch their team more than any other country in the next few days. Coach Hansi Flick is about to go through two finals. If Germany makes a fool of itself against Japan and France, Flick is threatened with dismissal . Former Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann has been discussed as a potential successor.”
Nagelsmann could be back soon.
“Dortmund has also added Nagelsmann’s name to its target list. Having only won 5 points after the first 3 matches of the season, Dortmund coach Edin Terzic is facing many criticisms.
“Nagelsmann may soon have to make a choice between the two invitations mentioned above, after things did not go well with Chelsea and Tottenham. Matthias Sammer is also now considered a candidate for the hot seat on the national team.”
