Right after the opening ceremony, stage 1 of the VBA 3×3 men’s professional event took place with the participation of 11 teams including Thang Long Warriors, Ho Chi Minh City Wings, Saigon Heat, Cantho Catfish, Hoop Dreams, New Sports, Bumblebees, The performance lab, VNSelect, Ares BKK and Rising Stars. In the afternoon of the same day, there was also a Dunk contest between professional athletes.
