Clubs in England’s top league spent a record £2.44 billion on new players during the transfer window just ended. Chelsea spent £434.5m, Manchester City spent £212.3m, while Arsenal and Manchester United paid £208m and £183.5m respectively.
Lescott thinks the Gunners and Nottingham Forest are the teams with the best summer transfer window. Lescott praised the business done by Mikel Arteta’s side, while also highlighting the positive features of Nottingham Forest.
