Coach Erik ten Hag may have made the wrong decision to reunite Antony in last summer’s transfer window. After successes with the Samba star at Ajax, the 53-year-old captain hopes to be able to do the same in his journey at Man Utd.
However, things did not go as expected. Antony seems overwhelmed by the harsh environment in the Premier League. He only scored 8 goals in all competitions last season and in 12 appearances this season, the 95 million euro contract has yet to score any goals.

Antony will likely have to leave Man Utd this summer.
Man Utd will not sell Antony in the January transfer window, but after the 2023/24 season ends, he will likely have to look for a new home if he does not improve his performance.
When Sir Jim Ratcliffe buys back 25% of the Red Devils’ shares, he will consider rebuilding the Red Devils squad. According to sources from Football Insider, The Brazilian star is also on that list.
