Chelsea’s three-match winning streak was halted after a 2-2 draw with Everton. Joao Felix, Kai Havertz have twice put the Blues ahead. However, the uncertain defense system cost Graham Potter’s army dearly. Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ellis Simms scored to give Everton a valuable draw.
Analyzing the goal in the 89th minute, former player Jamie Redknapp said that goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga had not had good enough reflexes. Commenting on Sky Sports, Redknapp made the point:

Chelsea drew 2-2 Everton.
“If you keep a close eye on the teams led by Sean Dyche, you’ll realize they have in their squad a player who can dribble and hold the ball well. Personally, the goalkeeper is poor. ! He didn’t give a good enough performance. Kepa needs to crouch, block the shot from a tight angle. He should do better than that.”
The disastrous draw made Chelsea 10th in the Premier League table, and the opportunity to shorten the gap with the Top 4 was increasingly remote. The Blues will return to play on April 1 after a break due to the national team schedule.
