Lille defender Leny Yoro is one of the next rising stars of French football. Even though he is only 18 years old, this midfielder is attracting attention from top European clubs.
Among the teams interested in Yoro are Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. Furthermore, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, coach of the French national U21 team, was full of praise for the young player.
“What he is doing is extraordinary,” Henry told Le10Sport. “Another young player who is having good matches. Warren Zaire-Emery attracted a bit more attention when PSG played in the Champions League. But it’s true that Leny is doing very well at the moment.”

Yoro is playing very impressively.
Football Transfers reported that Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are competing for this young midfielder. The Lille defender is under contract with the Ligue 1 team until 2025. However, with the interest of some of Europe’s top clubs, his time with this team could end soon.
The 18-year-old is one of the most duel-winning defenders in Ligue 1. Furthermore, the teenager is also considered one of the best centre-backs of his generation.
It will be interesting to see if PSG can bring back Yoro. The Parisiens are building an excellent foundation of young French players with Warren Zaire-Emery and Bradley Barcola, and they could make further additions next summer.
