The city of Milan in particular and Italian football in general are eagerly counting down to the Derby della Madonnina.
Last season, there were 5 derbies taking place on all fronts, in which Inter won the last 4 matches without conceding a goal.
Simone Inzaghi’s team overcame Milan to win the Italian Super Cup, then defeated this opponent before reaching the Champions League final.
“I’m happy to win four derbies in a row, but past results no longer mean anything,” coach Inzaghi said.
