Sergio Reguilon is one of Man United’s notable signings in the summer of 2023. The Spanish defender arrived at Old Trafford on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. The Red Devils see Reguilon as a ‘firefighting’ solution in the context that left-back duo Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are both out due to injury.
Reguilon made his debut for his new team when Man United lost 1-3 to Brighton. Sharing with the media, the 26-year-old star said he is integrating well at Man United. Speaking to ICS, Reguilon said:

“Casemiro sent me a text message on the first day I arrived at Man United. He said he could help me with anything related to the team, finding a new home…I’m really grateful to Casemiro. There are many people here helping me. Casemiro is one of them.”
“I have many good memories with Casemiro. We spent many matches, training sessions, and trips together.”
Going back in time, Casemiro and Reguilon spent time wearing the same Real Madrid shirt. The couple won the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup together.
