Arriving at Real Madrid as one of the brightest midfielders in Europe, in the end, Eduardo Camavinga was often deployed by coach Carlo Ancelotti to play as a left-back.
Camavinga admitted that he doesn’t really love this position, but he will still meet the coach’s requests because contributing to the club is the most important thing. The French star shared:
Camavinga does not like the fullback position.
“When I had to play in that position, it wasn’t too difficult. I talked to the coach, but as I always say, the most important thing is the team. Someone had to be put in this position, and because I was a team player I played as a defender, even though I didn’t like it very much.”
“The most important thing is to give everything for the club and the team. You don’t always get what you want in life, and you need to look on the positive side.”
“I still need to improve my concentration, as well as be more decisive on the field.”
