Chelsea’s plan
Robert Sanchez’s talent cannot be denied, but there are always concerns that this goalkeeper is not suitable for Chelsea’s level. It is important to know that at the end of last season, the Spanish star did not even have a starting position at Brighton. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Blues are considering improving their goalkeeper position.
As revealed by Ben Jacobs, the Stamford Bridge team is really interested in Aaron Ramsdale, and may even deploy a plan to recruit this star right in the January transfer window. However, the Blues have not yet made any specific moves, and it is obvious that Arsenal will not easily part with their key players.
British journalist said:

Chelsea is interested in Ramsdale.
“A lot of fans ask me if Chelsea is capable of recruiting Aaron Ramsdale in January. It is true that there will be many clubs keeping an eye on his situation, and that includes Chelsea. Ramsdale wants to play regularly to try and compete with Jordan Pickford for a starting spot in EURO 2024 on the England team.”
“Ramsdale can’t do that from the bench. But until now, Chelsea has not made any serious moves. Plus, Mikel Arteta really wants to keep Ramsdale, so switching clubs mid-season would be difficult. That can only happen if Ramsdale really makes an effort.”
Arteta spoke up
In Arsenal’s recent 2-2 draw against Chelsea, Gunners fans chanted Ramsdale’s name even though David Raya was the one chosen to start. And when asked about the fans’ attitude in the post-match press conference, Arteta had a really clever answer. The Spanish strategist said:
“How wonderful. I love Ramsdale and I will sing his name every day.”

Arteta doesn’t want to lose Ramsdale yet.
“Yesterday, we sang many verses to Ramsdale because he became a father – this is the most wonderful thing. Ramsdale is a person with charisma and personality, he is very loved by the whole team. “
Huge fees
As revealed by Daily Mail, not only Chelsea but another top European team, Bayern Munich, have also put Ramsdale in their sights. In an effort to find a long-term replacement for Manuel Neuer, the Bundesliga Champion has tapped Ramsdale as his top target. Obviously, the more big clubs are interested, the more significantly Ramsdale’s transfer fee will increase.
The above source confirmed that Arsenal has no plans to part with Ramsdale, but an offer worth 60 million pounds could be strong enough for them to change their stance and sit at the negotiating table. However, it is likely that the Gunners will ask for a higher number.
