Despite returning to training, Jamal Musiala is expected to miss Bayern Munich’s trip to FC Koln on Friday night after he recovered from a minor hamstring tear.
The 20-year-old was injured in Bayern Munich’s 2-1 win over Galatasaray on November 8. Musiala missed Bayern’s 4-2 win over Heidenheim, then also missed out on the new Germany squad by Julian Nagelsmann.

Musiala is coming back.
However, in more positive news, Musiala returned to training at Bayern’s Sabener Strasse headquarters on Monday. But as Kicker reports, Friday night’s match could be played too soon because Rekordmeister is not ready to take any risks. However, they have indicated that he will be fit for Bayern’s match against Copenhagen in the Champions League five days later.
On Thursday, the players will return to Bayern after duty with the national teams. Thomas Tuchel wanted to rest Dayot Upamecano and Kim Min-jae, but he could not do so because of the inherent injury problem in defense. Tarek Buchmann is currently sidelined for the foreseeable future, while Matthijs de Ligt is also struggling with a knee injury.
