Unlike the players who have been activated by Manchester United with a one-year extension option, David De Gea’s contract with the Red Devils will officially expire next summer. However, it is expected that the two sides will soon find a common voice on the negotiating table, when coach Erik Ten Hag has publicly announced his intention to keep De Gea.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano quotes the Dutch strategist:
“I think we want De Gea to stay And he also wants to stay at Manchester United.”

Ten Hag wants to keep De Gea.
“I think we’ll come to a new agreement together.”
Despite retaining De Gea, the British media confirmed that Man Utd will not guarantee the main catch for the Spanish star next season. In fact, if the right budget is available, Ten Hag is said to want to recruit a quality goalkeeper.
Recently, some prominent names like David Raya or Diogo Costa have always been rumored as the top targets of Man Utd. However, the Red Devils will have to spend a significant fee to bring them back to Old Trafford.
