As revealed by Fabrizio Romano, if Sir Jim Ratcliffe successfully buys back Manchester United’s shares, it is likely that there will be certain disturbances in the club’s leadership.
The Italian journalist said:
“If a new co-owner of Man Utd appears and decides to put someone on the board, it will be important to understand the reaction of those at the club.”
Sir Jim can bring many changes to Man Utd.
“I think that’s a possibility. Certainly when there are takeovers and changes in management, there is always a chance to replace some characters and new faces will appear. This may be an idea that INEOS has in mind, but nothing has been announced to them yet.”
Previously, British media confirmed that Sir Jim Ratcliffe plans to appoint a sports director to Man Utd’s board of directors. However, according to confirmation from Romano, currently, Sir Jim and the INEOS group are only focusing entirely on buying back shares from the Glazer Family.
