Contrary to reports showing that Arsenal is ready to sell Aaron Ramsdale right in the Eastern market if they receive a reasonable offer, Fabrizio Romano affirmed that the Gunners are still planning to retain Ramsdale until the end of the season.
The Italian journalist said:
“The goalkeeper market is a bit different to other positions on the field – it’s not easy for a goalkeeper to find a top club that can guarantee playing time.”

Arsenal doesn’t want to lose Ramsdale yet.
“If you look around at the big clubs in the Premier League and Europe, almost every team already has a goalkeeper they are happy with. It’s not easy, so goalkeepers often move in the summer.”
“Currently there is nothing specific, Arsenal has not negotiated with any club and Their intention for Ramsdale is to compete with David Raya towards the end of the season. Arsenal still hopes that Ramsdale will accept this, then they will make a decision in the summer transfer window.”
“However, we never know what can happen, because with things like injuries, the situation can change very quickly. But, currently there are no negotiations and nothing concrete.”
