In the past week, suddenly appeared information that Kai Havertz could leave Stamford Bridge. Real Madrid were the first team to approach but they are not excited about the £ 75 million price offered by Chelsea.
Not long after that, Arsenal stepped in. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Kai Havertz gave Arsenal the green light.
Sharing on personal Twitter, Romano wrote: “It is known that Kai Havertz has given the green light to the contract with Arsenal after positive signals. No matter on personal terms.”
“Arsenal and Chelsea are in contact. There is no chance for a price of 75 million pounds, but Chelsea will be flexible. Bayern are informed, but remain silent. 100% Real have withdrawn from the race,” Romano informed. more.
MailSport revealed the Gunners are willing to pay £200,000 a week if Havertz agrees to play at Emirates Stadium, significantly more than the income he receives at Chelsea (£150,000/week according to data from Spotrac).
Havertz joined Chelsea in 2020, for a fee of 64 million euros. The German player’s biggest impression at Chelsea so far is the goal against Man City to help the Blues win the Champiosn League in the 2020/21 season.
