Recently, Everton Club was deducted 10 points for violating Premier League financial rules. Previously, Man City faced 115 similar accusations, while Chelsea is still being investigated for shady payments related to former boss Roman Abramovich.

Stefan Borson, a lawyer who advised Man City after Everton’s news broke, asserted that the cost of FFP violation [Luáºt công bằng tà i chÃnh] really harsh.
Borson added: “But it reinforces the possibility that sanctions against Man City (if proven) and now Chelsea (if accused of receiving off-the-books payments) are likely. leading to relegation”.
Back in February after City were charged with 115 breaches of Premier League financial rules relating to sponsors and contracts over a nine-year period, Borson spoke of relegation as a potential penalty if they are found guilty.
Currently, Everton has dropped to 19th place on the rankings, after being deducted 10 points.
