Fabrizio Romano admitted that he knew about information showing that Arsenal planned to recruit Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who was dubbed the “new Jadon Sancho” by the media. However, according to Romano’s revelation, this deal has not progressed at the present time.
The Italian journalist shared:
“I know, some reports suggest that Arsenal are interested in Borussia Dortmund youngster Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. This talented player appears to have a bright future in football, so it’s perhaps inevitable that we’ll see some rumors of Jamie returning to the Premier League at some point .”
Similar to Sancho, Bynoe-Gittens also moved to Dortmund from Manchester City.
“However, to be honest, at the moment, I can confirm that I don’t have any updated information about Arsenal or any other club. Just ten days ago, Jamie signed a new contract with Dortmund, because he wanted to stay and Dortmund also considered Jamie an important player for the long-term project. So, certainly nothing will happen in January.”
“I think Jamie has great potential, but it takes time. He needs to play regularly.”
