Discussing information showing that Arsenal plans to recruit Benjamin Sesko, journalist Fabrizio Romano said:
“Some Arsenal fans are asking me about reports regarding Benjamin Sesko, but for now, I am not aware of anything specific happening in this deal. He is being contacted by many clubs, but as far as I know there is no progress at the moment, just normal scouting activities.”
“I really like Sesko, he would be a great choice for any club across Europe. However, it is important to respect RB Leipzig, as they currently do not want to sell Sesko – they do not want to lose any top players in January. As I recently reported, this is likely to be a deal that takes place in the summer of 2024, or even 2025.”

There has been no progress on the Sesko deal.
“On the issue of Arsenal strikers, I have revealed my interest in Ivan Toney, but this is not an easy deal. Chelsea have also been informed of his situation, so this is still an open race. At the moment, I don’t know if the Gunners will pursue Sesko as an alternative.”
