Sharing on personal Twitter, Fabrizio Romano said: “Fali Ramadani, the representative of Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy expect to receive official offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia.”
“Nothing has been decided from the player’s side but negotiations will continue. French clubs keep asking for Mendy, Inter still want Koulibaly,” Romano added.
In the summer of last year, Koulibaly moved to Stamford Bridge for £ 34 million from Napoli. He signed a four-year contract and received a salary of £300,000 a week. However, what Koulibaly showed in England was not so impressive. This player was injured and missed many matches of the Blues.
Meanwhile, despite being a god to help Chelsea win the Champions League in 2021, Mendy lost his spot to goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. In an earlier revelation, Romano himself admitted: “Chelsea expect Mendy to leave this summer in any case (sell or loan). Kepa Arrizabalaga has a better chance of staying.”
