The Gunners are currently in the race to win their first Premier League title in nearly two decades. It’s all in their hands, but the draw against Liverpool last weekend gave Manchester City a chance to come back.
Regardless of what happens this season, Arsenal will be active in the summer transfer window, and Baku is believed to be their top target, alongside the likes of Declan Rice, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia .
Sky Sports Germany journalist Plettenberg has revealed that Baku is on Arsenal’s radar, and the 25-year-old right-back’s priority is a move to England this summer.
Baku, who is considered a “dangerous” player, will enter the final two years of his contract this summer, and he has a price tag of around £13m.
Plettenberg tweeted: “Baku: It is said that the 25-year-old right-back is very much ready to leave Wolfsburg in the summer! Dream destination: England. He’s on Arsenal’s shortlist, confirmed! There is also interest from Spain. Possible price: Around 15 million euros (13 million pounds)!”
