Discussing rumors suggesting that Liverpool plans to recruit Jamal Musiala, journalist Neil Jones commented:
“I think, there is no club in Europe that would not like to have Jamal Musiala in their squad, and Liverpool is no exception. But, admiring a player and signing that player is two different things, as evidenced by Liverpool’s inability to recruit Jude Bellingham.”
Neil Jones spoke highly of Musiala.
“I believe Musiala has a similar level to Bellingham, so it will be difficult for Liverpool to sign him with him, considering both the financial needs and the competition they face. Musiala’s contract situation at Bayern Munich will be monitored, but I expect the Bavarian team will go all out to keep him.”
“Musiala is the jewel in Bayern’s crown, along with Harry Kane, and Bayern don’t tend to lose players like that.”
“As much as I would love to see Musiala at Anfield at some point, reaching a deal at the moment will be very difficult for Liverpool.”
