Discussing the contract for Mason Greenwood, coach Jose Bordalas, a Getafe crew member, shared:
“This is too delicate a topic to be taken lightly. Everyone knows what happened and the appropriate measures have been taken, obviously we can only talk about football. The relevant department did what needed to be done.”
Greenwood “started again” in La Liga.
“Everyone knows what happened, and it ends with a conclusion that Greenwood is not guilty. He is a very high level football player and come to Getafe with enthusiasm. We will try to help him regain his best form.”
“I can only speak on the football side. We all know the potential that Greenwood possesses. He is very young, only 21 years old and we hope he can adapt to a different league. If Greenwood can get back in shape – I’m sure of that, he will want to restore the status of a professional player he once had, and Getafe can help Greenwood.”
