Greenwood left Old Trafford last month to join Getafe on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old was suspended by Man United in January 2022. Although all charges against Greenwood were dropped, Man United decided to conduct their own investigation and eventually loaned the player to Getafe .
In the new shirt, the English striker is gradually finding a way to integrate into the La Liga football environment. Most recently, he played lacklusterly in Getafe’s 1-1 draw with Real Betis.

However, it seems that Greenwood violated team discipline again. The Sun reporters caught the image of the English striker and his father, Andrew, stopping in front of the Burger King fast food restaurant in Madrid right after Getafe’s training session.
Greenwood waited in the car, while Andrew went into the restaurant to buy two rather large meals. It is important to know that head coach Jose Bordalas is very strict. The Spanish coach forbade his players from eating fast food and snacks that easily cause fat.
It is unclear whether after knowing the story, Mr. Bordalas will impose a penalty on Greenwood or not.
