Zlatan just made his first start since January 2022, he captained AC Milan, and he scored to set the record as the oldest goalscorer in Serie A at 41 years and 166 days. The previous record holder was Alessandro Costacurta, who successfully took the penalty in Milan’s defeat to Udinese in May 2007.
Ibra joked on Sky Sport Italia: “He can hold the record, I don’t want this record. I’m proud to put my name in the history of this club, because it’s a great club with a great history, players who have done great things.”

Zlatan still scores for Milan at the age of 41.
“I’m also proud to be captain, but the game didn’t go the way we wanted.”
“I feel very good on the pitch, I haven’t started a game in 14 months and it’s important to be in good form. If I feel as good as I do today, I can still play, I no doubt about myself.”
