Real Madrid’s Aurelian Tchouameni has come to the defense of Barcelona’s Gavi after a source claimed that the Spaniard injured him. The video shows Gavi colliding with the French midfielder, who has now been out of action for two months after suffering a broken metatarsal bone in his left foot.
The video comes from a ball fight in the second half when Tchouameni stopped the young Barca player. Tchouameni has now denied that misunderstanding and revealed that his injury actually happened in the first half and that the broken bone was not Gavi’s fault.

Tchouameni defends Gavi.
The former AS Monaco star will now miss the next two months of competition and will probably only return when the season becomes most intense, in December. Until then, Carlo Ancelotti only has one midfielder in his defense. The only defender is Eduardo Camavinga, who often plays left back whenever Los Blancos’ defense fluctuates. Recently, information appeared revealing that Floretino Perez does not want to see Camavinga play as a defender.
Real will next face Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, November 5.
