According to Turkish journalist Arda Biben, Fenerbahce is looking for a top-class midfielder and has his eye on Arsenal star Jorginho. However, the Italian player’s agent confirmed that he is currently fully focused on the Gunners.
Jorginho will not join Fenerbahce.
“Jorginho is focused on Arsenal, on the race for the Premier League title and the Champions League. He won’t go to Fenerbahce,” representative shared in an interview with TMW.
Jorginho joined Arsenal in the January transfer window from Chelsea. The Italian midfielder made 14 Premier League appearances for the Gunners in the second half of the season, nine of which were in the starting lineup.
However, the arrival of Declan Rice and Kai Havertz limited Jorginho’s chances to play. Since the beginning of the season, the former Chelsea midfielder has played a total of 3 matches and all were from the bench.
Regarding Arsenal, the Emirates Stadium team considers Jorginho to be an experienced player, an important factor in the squad and has no intention of selling the Italian midfielder, especially when they have to fight on many fronts.
