Today, suddenly it was reported that Man United wanted Adrien Rabiot of Juventus on a free transfer, when the French player’s contract with the Italian club will expire next June.
Rabiot is sought after by Man United.
Fabrizio Romano said: “Rabiot is still interested by Man United, but nothing has been agreed. He is simply a name being discussed internally. Rabiot has a dream to play in the Premier Leagueso that will be his top priority.
But Rabiot will also get an offer to sign a new contract at Juventus, so, He will decide his future at the end of the season. Rabiot is aware of United’s interest, but there are also other Premier League clubs interested and so going to England seems the most likely option for him.”
From the summer of 2022, Juventus agreed to a fee with Man United for Rabiot, but the demand for excessive wages of the mother and agent of the midfielder caused the Red Devils to withdraw.
