On the latest FIFA rankings just announced, The Italian team is moving up 1 place to rank 14th in the world although they have just disappointed when they let Sweden out of the 2018 World Cup finals after losing in the play-off round. Currently, Italy has not found a new captain after coach Giampiero Ventura was sacked.
