Osimhen is shining brightly at Napoli, scoring 23 goals in 28 appearances to help Luciano Spalletti’s side top the Serie A table and reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Osimhen than Haaland?
Former Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Man City and Germany midfielder Dietmar Hamann believes Osimhen is even better than Haaland, who has enjoyed an equally impressive season at the Etihad. The Norwegian has scored 45 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions.
Hamann said: “For me, Osimhen is probably a more comprehensive player than Haaland and has a better playstyle.
Haaland is a forward-looking player and I questioned whether he was really the right fit for City. Haaland can prove me wrong at the moment, if you look at the number of goals and what he does.
I think Osimhen is a player every top club should be after, because, for me, he is the best striker in the world.”
At the moment, the Nigerian striker is being sought by Man United despite the price of more than 100 million pounds that Napoli demanded.
